| BREF PROFIL DE L'ENTREPRISE/DESCRIPTION DES SERVICES | We recently launched chilled ready meals by using an innovative food processing & packaging technology (MICVAC) in Canada. This technology will be a game changer for HMR category. Micvac method is used in more than 30 countries and growing to other regions. Our cooking process allows us to process and pack ready meals with 60-90 days shelf life in the fridge without any preservatives and additives. For the consumer, its extremely convenient because it only takes 2-4 min to reheat in the microwave, it even whistles when its ready. Our facility is in Exeter, Ontario; we are Federally registered with an establishment # for Meat and seafood from CFIA. We are also SQF Level 3 and Halal certified. Hensall Foods is a new food division of Hensall Coop established to launch innovative food projects for the retail markets. Hensall Coop is a farmer owned Cooperative, established in 1937 with approx. $900M annual revenue. We launched a PL brand (Fresh2Go Bistro Bowl) with one of the big retailers in Canada selling 4 Premium seafood sku’s (400g) at retail price of $10/meal. We have also launched our own brand “The Screaming Chef” at independent grocery and CnG stores in Southwestern Ontario. We successfully completed Walmart Ontario test launch and now acquired a National listing with Walmart for 4 recipes. We are looking for a retail partner to sell “The Screaming Chef” products or willing to entertain a private label opportunity. |
