Canadian Vending & Office Coffee Service Awards

The Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association is pleased to announce the 2016 recipients of the vending and office coffee industry’s highest awards.

The annual awards’ presentations will be held in conjunction with CAMA Expo 2016 at the Victoria Conference Centre at 7:00 pm on Friday, September 16th. Industry members from across Canada and the United States will be present to recognize the recipients of the Don Storey Memorial Award, the Stuart Daw Gold Service Award, and the CAMA Customer Service Award.

The Don Storey Memorial Award will be presented to Lorna Kane of Kane’s Distributing Inc, St. Catherines ON and Distribution QM, Montreal QC.  Lorna is being recognized as a passionate and committed industry professional. She is a long-time member of the association, has volunteered on several tradeshow committees and is currently a sitting member on the Board of Directors.

The Stuart Daw Gold Service Award will be presented to Jim Jackson of Quality Vending & Coffee Services, Winnipeg MB. Jim is being recognized for his ethics and high standard of business practices. He is a long-time member of the association and has shared his experience in micro markets by conducting educational seminars at past annual tradeshows which he regularly attends.

The CAMA Customer Service Award will be presented to Jacques Dube of McMurray Coin Machines, Fort McMurray AB. His company’s response to provide essential services after the recent disaster in Fort McMurray is one of the reasons he is being recognized for his dedication to customer service. Jacques is a strong supporter of CAMA and is currently a sitting member on the Board of Directors.

Formed in 1953, the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association (CAMA) is the only association representing the interests of vending and office coffee service operators, machine manufacturers as well as product and service suppliers and micro markets in Canada. With more than 250 members, the Association’s mission is to advance and promote the vending, office coffee service and micro market industries from coast-to-coast.

About CAMA Awards

The Stuart Daw Gold Service Award is presented to an active CAMA member who best exemplifies Stuart Daw’s fine qualities - entrepreneurial leadership, dedication and professionalism. This nominee should also possess sound work ethics upholding high industry standards and have made an exceptional contribution to the office coffee service industry.

The Don Storey Memorial Award is presented to an active member of CAMA who during their years in the vending industry have demonstrated high standards of integrity, commitment to industry image and community relations in the area in which he or she operates, or the particular activity in which he or she is involved.

The CAMA Customer Service Award
Introduced in 2011, this award recognizes the late Albert DeNovellis whose personal approach and dedication to high standards of service were admired by clients and members across Canada. This award is presented to a nominee who has, over a number of years, made an exceptional contribution to the vending and/or office coffee service industry in Canada in terms of interest, service and achievement.

Les Grands prix de la distribution automatique et pause-café

L'Association canadienne d'auto-distribution est fière de vous annoncer les noms des récipiendaires 2016 des grands prix de l'industrie de la distribution automatique et pause-café

La présentation de ces prix aura lieu le vendredi 16 septembre à 19 heures lors de l'Expo 2016 de l'ACAD qui se tiendra cette année au Victoria Conference Centre.  Des membres de l'industrie venant autant du Canda que des États-Unis seront présents afin d'honorer les récipiendaires des prix Commémoratif Don Storey, Service en Or Stuart Daw et le Prix ACAD du meilleur service à la clientèle.

Le Prix commémoratif Don Storey est décerné cette année à Lorna Kane de Kane’s Distributing Inc, St. Catherines ON et Distribution QM, Montréal QC.  Lorna est ainsi reconnue comme une personne passionnée, professionnelle et dédiée à l'industrie.  Membre de longue date de notre association, Lorna a souvent siégé sur les différents comités organiseurs d'exposition en plus de siéger actuellement sur le comité de direction de l'association. 

Le prix Service en Or Stuart Daw est décerné cette année à Jim Jackson de Quality Vending & Coffee Services, Winnipeg MB. Jim est ainsi reconnu pour son éthique et ses hauts standards dans la gestion de ses affaires.  Jim est aussi un membre de longue date de l'association et a récemment partagé son expérience acquise dans le milieu des micromarchés dans des séminaires tenus lors de nos récentes expositions, expositions auxquelles il participe sur une base assidue. 

Le Prix ACAD du meilleur service à la clientèle est décerné cette année à Jacques Dubé de McMurray Coin Machines, Fort McMurray AB. La réponse de sa compagnie afin d'assurer les services essentiels lors des récents incendies de forêt à Fort McMurray est une des raisons de sa reconnaissance de son dévouement envers le service à la clientèle.  Jacques est un ardant défenseur de l'ACAD et siège actuellement sur le comité de direction.

Fondée en 1953, l'association canadienne d'auto-distribution (ACAD) est la seule organisation professionnelle représentant les intérêts des exploitants de distributrices automatiques, service de pause-café, fabricants de machines et aussi fournisseurs de produits et services et micromarchés du Canada.  Comptant au-delà de 250 membres, la mission de l'association est de promouvoir et faire évoluer les industries de la distribution automatique, du service de pause-café et aussi les micromarchés d'un océan à l'autre.

Le récipiendaire possèdera de bonnes qualités morales et fera preuve de normes élevées dans l'industrie et aura, au cours d'un certain nombre d'années, apporté une contribution exceptionnelle à l'industrie du pause café au Canada en termes d'intérêt, service et réalisation

Le prix commémoratif Don Storey est décerné à un membre actif de l'ACAD qui, durant ses années dans l'industrie d'auto-distribution aura démontré tout au long de sa carrière un haut standard d'intégrité, un engagement envers l'image de l'industrie et des relations communautaires dans sa région ou une activité particulière dans laquelle elle ou il est impliqué.

Le Prix service à la clientèle ACAD
Nouveau depuis 2011, ce prix se veut une reconnaissance du dévouement et de l'approche personnelle pour un service impeccable dont feu Albert DeNovellis a su faire montre tout au long de sa carrière, partout au Canada. Ce prix est présenté à une personne qui aura, au cours d'un certain nombre d'années, apporté une contribution exceptionnelle à l'industrie du pause café et/ou d'auto-distribution au Canada en termes d'intérêt, service et réalisation.
