Since 2000, the Training Renewal Foundation has joined with the Ontario Coffee & Vending Service Association and more recently the Canadian Automatic Merchandising Association to provide training programs for Coffee & Vending Service Technicians, Route Drivers and Warehouse staff.

A period of on-the-job placement for our trainees will be from June 3 to June 28, 2013.

If you would be interested in:

  • Providing an on-the-job placement (at no cost to the employer)
    for one of the trainees
  • Wish to find out more about the training program

The new $5 and $10 are coming in November

Today, the Bank of Canada unveiled images of the new $10 and $5 polymer notes which are to be issued in November 2013. You are receiving this message because as an owner and/or user of banknote handling equipment in the Vending, Parking, or Transit sectors, your equipment will be impacted by the release of these 2 new denominations. I therefore wish to inform you that as of today, manufacturers of the equipment that you use have been contacted by the Bank of Canada to inform them that with immediate effect, they can acquire pre-release $5 and $10 banknotes to facilitate any machine adaptations that may be necessary in order for your devices to accept the new notes. Should you wish to know more about how your equipment may be impacted by the release of the new $5 and $10 banknotes, you are encouraged to speak directly to your equipment provider.
